Crafted from Blue Onyx

The authentic 24k gold leaf is applied with traditional gilding techniques. It is then sealed for durability. This stone is machine cut from slab in Iran, and hand finished by me with a sanding stone and polished with an eco friendly acid marble polishing agent for a slight gloss effect. All stone products I select share a low refraction index, so they allow light to penetrate a few millimeters into the surface before shattering, giving the piece its aura of vitality.
